Elm and Oak table
Every aspect of this piece conveys a concept of human interaction between the trees we work with. The legs are architectural frames that hold an incredibly unique piece of elm tree. Emulating the support humans have given to the species after a vast amount succumbed to the dutch elm disease. The brass cross key is representative of the somewhat blasé approach, we as a species, have to attempting to fix the damage we have caused to the climate. Patching over the cracks with shiny promises of improvement.
