Digital artwork printed onto canvas
This digital artwork is part of a collection of sketches, paintings and photographs that I made during the first lockdown. Every morning I walked on Wimbledon Common with my sketchbook and camera. Through the series of pictures I tried to convey my delight at the exuberance of the natural world which stood in contrast to human affairs –ambulance sirens were often heard over the birdsong. Here, I used a photograph of 1960s curtain fabric as the basis for a digital picture, then drew on top of it .
