This image was inspired by a follower within my Instagram community. With her kind permission, I created this painting to embrace the beauty of the female body shape. Carefully cropped to embraces the feminine form and movement, highlighted by an unzipped, brilliant coloured turquoise satin dress. The heavily textured background becomes a prop for her to reveal this movement, weaving through draping vibrant colours of pinks and purples with additional gold leaf to capture a richness of ‘suggestion’.
